Utility Tractor Operator (Temporary Full-Time)

Applications are invited for a Utility Tractor Operator in the Parks Department. Under the direction of the Parks Supervisor or his/her designate, operates utility tractor with various attachments to perform seasonal duties such as beach cleaning, turf/leaf raking, ball field dragging, grass cutting, aeration, and fertilization. Completes minor tractor and equipment maintenance. Performs various labourer duties.

Selection Criteria:

• Grade 10 Education or equivalent acceptable experience.
• Six (6) months’ experience in the operation of a utility tractor.
• Demonstrated ability in the operation of a skid steer.
• Must be able to take instructions and carry them out without supervision.
• Applicants may be subject to written and vehicle operations testing.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Class "D" Driver's License with "Z" endorsement; or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
