Whether you're looking for a game of pickleball, a place to shoot hoops or a beach volleyball court, North Bay offers a variety of outdoor courts for drop-in play and organized use throughout the warmer months.
Some courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while others may be reserved for tournaments or organized activities. If you're planning an organized event or would like to reserve a court, you'll need a facility permit.
Get a facility permit by completing the application below. You may also visit the Arts, Culture and Recreation/ Sports and Events Department located on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
North Bay offers both dedicated and seasonal outdoor pickleball courts throughout the city.
Bourke Street Playground features eight dedicated outdoor pickleball courts and is available for both drop-in play and online reservations. When courts have been reserved, the reservation holder has priority during the booked time.
Reservations
• Up to six courts are available for regular reservations
• All courts can be booked for tournaments
• Fee: $16 +HST for two courts (3-hour rental block)

Outdoor basketball courts are available at Community Waterfront Park on Oak Street, behind the North Bay Transit Terminal. The courts are available for both drop-in play and reservations. When courts have been reserved, the reservation holder has priority during the booked time.

• Full and half courts can be reserved
• Fee: $12 +HST per hour, per court
