Overnight Parking Bans
Overnight on-street parking bans are in effect from Nov. 1 to April 15.
By-Law 2014-037 prohibits the parking of vehicles:
- in the Downtown Improvement Area (DIA) from 3 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- on blocks containing cul-de-sacs and dead-end roads from 3 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
- all other streets from 3 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
- Parking is also restricted whenever snow removal signs are posted.
On-Street Parking Rental Program
- Convenient monthly rentals in designated on-street metered areas (see map below).
- For regular daytime parking hours; 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Availability of parking stalls in the designated area shall be on a first come, first served basis. If a parking stall is not available in the designated area, you will be required to park in an assigned alternate location.
- On-street rental clients must abide by all traffic and parking bylaws; i.e. overnight parking restrictions, fire routes, disabled parking stalls, loading zones, bus stops, no parking areas, etc.
