Though North Bay does not host active mines, the city has long been a global leader in mining supply, services, and technology. The celebration aims to educate, connect, and inspire, focusing on the city’s century-long mining contributions.

Event Highlights:

• Immersive Exhibits – Explore locally designed and manufactured mining equipment, technological advancements, and hands-on displays spread along the waterfront.
• Interactive Experiences for All Ages – Kids can enjoy fun, hands-on mining exhibits, youth can explore diverse career opportunities, and we can all be inspired by a century of groundbreaking innovations from our local miners.
• Mining Companies Showcasing Global Impact – Meet representatives from local mining companies as they highlight their contributions to shaping the global mining industry.
• Self-Guided Walking Tour – Discover mining’s rich history and future through engaging exhibits and demonstrations.
• Community Conversations & Industry Talks – Hear from mining professionals and thought leaders on the industry's past, present, and future.

Whether you’re a local resident, a mining professional, or someone interested in learning more about the industry, there’s something for everyone.

Additional events include a social evening aboard the Chief Commanda II, bringing together industry leaders and the community.
