Voter Information Letters are on the Way

Voter Information Letters are now in the mail for voters in North Bay ahead of the 2026 Municipal Election. 


Voter Information Letters
Residents are encouraged to watch their mail and keep their letter in a safe place once it arrives.  The letter contains the information needed to vote online, including a unique, one-time-use Voting PIN and the web address for voting.

 

Voting opens at 10 a.m. on Oct. 15 and continues until 8 p.m. on Oct. 26. Residents can vote online using a computer, tablet or smartphone by visiting the voting website listed in their letter. Voters do not need to wait until Voting Day to cast their ballot.

Help is available

Voters who do not have access to a computer or internet, or who need assistance with the online voting process, can get help in person.

Computers and election staff will be available at City Hall, 200 McIntyre St. E., during the following times:

  • Thursday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 19 to Friday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Voting Day, Monday, Oct. 26, assistance will be available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at:

  • Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens, 100 Chippewa St. W.
  • WFCU Place, 1099 Lakeshore Dr.

Haven't received a letter?

Residents can check whether they are on the Voters’ List at northbay.ca/vote.

Eligible voters who have not received a Voter Information Letter by Oct. 15, have received a letter with incorrect information, or need to update their voter information should contact the City Clerk’s Office or visit City Hall or a voter assistance location. Residents making changes to their voter information should bring valid photo ID and proof of residence.
