Casting Your Ballot

Voting takes about five minutes and will require your date of birth and your Voting PIN, which is in your Voter Information Letter.

Step 1

Receive your Voter Information Letter

Before voting opens, you'll receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail to access your online ballot. This is where you will find the Voting website address, your unique Voting PIN, and instructions on how and when to vote.

Step 2

Log in to the voting website

Refer to your Voter Information Letter for the voting website address. Visit the website using your computer, tablet, or smartphone — or, if you need assistance, a City device. Enter your unique Voting PIN and Date of Birth, then select Verify. Read the Declaration and Acknowledgment Statement. Once you've finished, select I Agree, then click Proceed.

Step 3

Cast your ballot electronically

Select the candidate(s) of your choice for each office — mayor, City councillor, and school board trustee. Select Next once you are happy with your selection(s), or to move through any acclaimed office.  Review your selections and submit your ballot.
