North Bay, ON – May 9, 2026 – Beginning Monday, Jane Street between Durrill Street and Bloem Street will be closed during most of the day for approximately one week while Battano Construction completes sidewalk replacement work.
Traffic will be managed in stages throughout the day. From 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., one lane will remain open to accommodate morning traffic. From 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., the road will be fully closed to allow for construction activities. From 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m., one lane will reopen to for afternoon traffic flow. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the road may be closed again if required.
Local access for residents will be maintained throughout the project. Asphalt repairs will follow the sidewalk replacement work.
Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution in the area and follow all posted signage.
