The City of North Bay is advising residents of temporary access restrictions at the North Bay Marina beginning the week of Oct. 26 due to rehabilitation work on the service dock.
The project is being undertaken by Small Crafts Harbours, a division of the Fisheries and Ocean Canada. The work involves replacing aging steel sheet piles along the shoreline of the service dock.
Construction is expected to continue until the end of March.
During this period, the marina boat launch ramp and associated parking area will be closed to public use. The main marina parking lot will remain open to accommodate winter recreational activities.
Residents are asked to respect construction signage and avoid restricted areas for their safety.
