North Bay, ON – May 15, 2026 – The North Bay Fire & Emergency Services is advising the public of a possible phone scam in which a caller falsely claims to represent NBFES and requests payment for an outstanding invoice.
Neither the City of North Bay nor North Bay Fire & Emergency Services typically request payment by phone, and any calls of this nature should be treated as suspicious. Residents are advised not to provide personal or financial information unless the caller has been verified.
If you receive a similar call, hang up immediately and contact the City through official channels to verify the legitimacy of the request. Residents with questions about services or outstanding payments related to North Bay Fire & Emergency Services may call 705-474-0626 ext. 4855.
