North Bay, ON – July 14, 2021 – Please be advised that work to install tactile indicators at signalized intersections on McKeown Avenue at Champlain Street and at the A&W entrance to the McKeown Commons plaza will be taking place Thursday and Friday, starting at 7 a.m.
Tactile indicator tiles provide a distinctive surface pattern which is used to alert visually impaired pedestrians as they near a street crossing.
Lane closures will be in effect during construction, although all traffic will be able to move through the work zone.
