Community Partners

A successful CSWB Plan requires keen interest and collaboration from a number of community partners that range from the small community-based organizations to our larger government agencies. Local leaders, human service providers, educational institutions, and our Justice and Indigenous partners all have a role to play in community safety and well being. A number of our community partners also belong to various system oriented tables and working groups, and it would be advantageous to have everyone working towards the same goals.

To better organize our collective works and provide a forum to share agency initiatives, a CSWB Advisory Group was created to help execute, monitor, and pivot our CSWB Plan where necessary. Our Advisory Group members share an interest in each of our identified priorities, and a strong commitment to collaborate in order to achieve positive outcomes.

Established in 2022, 16 Systems leaders meet quarterly to stay connected to local initiatives and emerging trends. The CSWB Advisory Group has executive representation from Conseil scolaire de district du Nord-Est de l'Ontario , Canadian Mental Health Association, North Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre, Childrens Aid Society, City of North Bay, North Bay Regional Health Centre, Franco-Nord, District Nipissing Social Services Administration Board, Community Counselling Centre, Nipissing Parry Sound District Catholic School Board, HANDS the Family Help Network, Near North School Board, Crisis Centre North Bay, North Bay Police Service, North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit, and representation from North Bay City Council.
