Canada Day

Plans are underway for North Bay’s 2026 Canada Day celebrations!

While details are still being finalized, residents and visitors can look forward to a day that brings the community together at the waterfront with a mix of patriotic, cultural, and family-friendly activities.

Typical Canada Day highlights include live music and entertainment, a kids' zone, food and vendors, and fireworks. More information about event programming, schedules, and activities will be shared as it becomes available.

The City of North Bay recognizes that Canada Day holds different meaning for each of us, and that it is not a day of celebration for everyone. Whether you choose to celebrate or take time to reflect, we encourage everyone to learn more about the full history of our country and its relationship with Indigenous peoples. There are many resources available online for those who wish to deepen their understanding.

Accessibility

Accessible parking will be available at the waterfront during the event.  Please be prepared to present a valid permit to access designated areas.

ParaBus service will also be available.

If you require an accessibility-related accommodation, please contact Arts, Culture, and Recreation at 704-474-0400 ext. 2329.
