Main Street Revitalization

Why is this project happening?

The last major renovations to Main Street were completed nearly 40 years ago and much of the surface infrastructure has reached the end of its life and requires replacement. This includes; interlocking brick roadway and sidewalks, curbs and gutters, retaining walls, stairs, railings, benches and lighting.

The revitalization of Main Street was also identified as a major component of the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan (DWMP).
