The Corporation of the City of North Bay is currently accepting applications for the position of Utility Tractor Operator within the Parks and Roads Department.
Position Rotates Seasonally: Roads (6 months) and Parks (6 months).
Reporting to the Roads Supervisor, the Utility Tractor Operator is responsible for operating a utility tractor equipped with various attachments to complete seasonal road‑related duties. These duties include grass cutting, road and sidewalk sweeping, sidewalk plowing and sanding, and pushing snow for removal.
Reporting to the Parks Supervisor, the Operator will also perform seasonal parks‑related duties using a range of tractor attachments. These duties include beach cleaning, raking, grass cutting, aeration and fertilization, and maintenance of ball fields and ice rinks.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing minor maintenance on tractors and related equipment, as well as assisting with general labourer tasks as required.
