The City of North Bay is celebrating GIS Day 2025 with the launch of a new Municipal Dashboard, a public-facing online tool that provides residents with insight into the City’s organizational performance and key community measures.
Developed as part of the City’s ongoing implementation of the KPMG Organizational Review, the Municipal Dashboard highlights important indicators that help monitor progress, measure outcomes, and share information about City programs and services.
The City continues to advance work related to the KPMG recommendations, including mapping internal processes, identifying efficiencies, setting targeted goals, and establishing meaningful key performance indicators. As this work progresses, additional measures and indicators will be added to the dashboard to reflect ongoing improvements.
The dashboard data over time, highlighting areas of success and those requiring additional focus. The Municipal Dashboard is accessible through the City’s Explore North Bay GIS Portal, which also features interactive maps showcasing development, public art, and transportation. The portal will continue to expand as the City’s GIS team develops new applications and tools.
