North Bay, ON – June 2, 2020 – Asphalt resurfacing of various roads within the City of North Bay is expected to get underway next week.
The reconstruction and rehabilitation work, which is slated to continue until the end of October, includes more than 30 sections of road and involves pulverizing, milling, paving, granular shouldering and gutter replacement. The work also includes the rehabilitation of approximately 825 metres of the Kate Pace Way from Lee Park to the east.
Due to the nature of the work, traffic will be impacted. Roads will remain open to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. In the event a road is closed, detours will be put in place to direct travelers around the site. Additional updates regarding individual projects will be provided as necessary as the work proceeds.
