North Bay, ON – March 25, 2020 – The City of North Bay is committed to continuing to support our local business community through this difficult time.
We have assembled a list of business resources under the Economic Development section of our COVID-19 page and have established a Business Services Hotline for companies that wish to connect with a staff representative. The hotline number is 705-474-0626 x 2417, or email to invest@investinnorthbay.ca. Both are being monitored Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
“We recognize the significant impact the pandemic is having on businesses and we remain committed to helping our local companies by providing information and resources that may assist,” said Mayor McDonald. “The leadership and resourcefulness demonstrated by our business community is admirable. I encourage everyone to do their part in supporting one another during these challenging times.”
Although access to City Hall has been limited in order to help protect the community and staff, the City of North Bay is not scaling back business support services. In addition to the new Business Services Hotline and online resource listing, remote service protocols have been implemented to continue to support development. As well, Development and Planning services such as the Development Application Review Team (DART) remain operational.
