New Community Safety Zones

North Bay, ON – September 1, 2023 – The City wishes to inform the public of two new Community Safety Zones within the City. New signage for the safety zones and speed limit reduction to 40km/hr have been installed in the following areas:

• Lakeshore Drive near Omischl Sport’s Complex and Sunset Park Public School
• Olive Street between Cassells Street and High Street (near Casselholme)

The changes are following the passing of By-law No. 2023-66 on August 8^th at the Regular Meeting of Council. Modifications aim to enhance public safety in these zones.
