North Bay, ON – April 24, 2020 – The contractor for the Gertrude Street Sewage Pumping Station, Sanitary Sewer and Forcemain project has completed the commissioning of the new sewage pumping station and will finalize street reconstruction at the Knox Court intersection and in front of the West Ferris Community Center starting Monday, April 27, 2020.
As part of the reconstruction of Gertrude Street, the road will be closed starting Monday for approximately two weeks and at various times over the month of May to expedite the work. The detour used during the summer and fall for this project is still in place and will allow traffic to travel around the work zone.
