Registration opens for Summer Youth Centre

Registration opens for Summer Youth Centre

Looking for a flexible, fun, and active way to keep your child engaged this summer? The Summer Youth Program offers a safe and welcoming space where kids can learn, play, and build healthy habits all summer long.

Running from June 29 to August 28, 2026, this program is offered Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with three locations: Caldwell-Ellam Community Centre, Circle Lake Community Centre, and the Elmwood Community Hub.

Participants will enjoy a variety of supervised activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and overall well-being in a supportive group environment.

How it works

To help us create a safe and organized environment, advance registration is required for all participants. Registration collects important information such as emergency contacts and medical details.

Once registered, families can take advantage of a flexible, drop-in style program:

  • Simply bring your child on the days that work for you
  • Each location welcomes up to 30 participants per day, ages 6–12
  • Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis

This approach offers families the freedom to build a summer schedule that works for them while ensuring a safe and high-quality experience for all participants.

What to expect

Children will enjoy a variety of activities that support:
