The City of North Bay is working towards becoming a fully accessible City and offering accessible services and programs by removing and preventing barriers that could hold back any member of the public from participating in community life.
The Province of Ontario developed accessibility standards for all private, voluntary and not-for-profit organizations. The five area standards of accessibility are: Customer service, Information and communication, Employment, Transportation and Design of public spaces (built environment).
