  • North Bay Council approves City’s 2022 budget

The approved budget includes inflationary increases, addresses contractual labour increases and reflects the continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on municipal finances, including lost revenues. The budget is comprised of two components: operating and capital.

  • Families First Fireworks Display Cancelled
    North Bay, ON – Dec. 27, 2021 – The North Bay’s Families First fireworks display planned for New Year’s Eve has been cancelled due to reduced social gathering limits for indoor and outdoor settings and a rising number of cases of COVID-19 in the community and across the province.
  • Memorial Gardens hosting vaccine clinics during holidays
    North Bay, ON – Dec. 21, 2021 – Memorial Gardens will host COVID-19 mass immunization clinics for four days starting Dec. 27 as part of the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit’s effort to increase first and second doses and accelerate booster rollout in the community.
  • City preparing outdoor rinks and new winter walking trail
    North Bay, ON – Dec. 22, 2021 – City crews are busy preparing outdoor ice rinks for the season. A total of 10 outdoor rinks will be maintained this winter including the Lee Park Skating Trail, which will have an added loop that will expand the length of the trail to a full kilometre. Circle Lake Rink will be closed this season due to construction.

A further update will be provided should lane closures be required.
