    North Bay, ON – Nov. 26, 2021 – CCTV camera inspection of the storm sewer on Main Street between Cassells and Sherbrooke streets will be taking place over four nights starting Sunday, Nov. 28th.

    North Bay, ON – Nov. 24, 2021 – The City of North Bay is experiencing its biggest building year on record with year-to-date construction values exceeding $105 million.
  • Council approves 2022 water and wastewater budget
    North Bay, ON – Nov. 16, 2021 – North Bay City Council has approved the City’s 2022 water and wastewater operating budget in the net amount of approximately $24.2 million.
  • Lane Reduction: Airport Road
    North Bay, ON – Nov. 16, 2021 – A section of the westbound curb lane of Airport Road between O’Brien Street and Golf Club Road is closed until further notice due to a failed culvert. The closure is expected to remain in place for an extended period pending replacement. The City of North Bay thanks residents for their patience.

  • Road Closure: Wickstead Avenue
    North Bay, ON – Oct. 15, 2021 – Wickstead Avenue will be closed between Mountainview Drive and Sage Road for approximately 11 days starting Monday, Oct. 18 to allow for the replacement roadside curbs.

  • Grass sports fields closed
    North Bay, ON – Sept. 22, 2021 – Due to extremely wet conditions, ball diamonds, soccer fields and football fields have been closed today.  All games and practices are cancelled. Powerade Field and Minute Maid Fields at the Omischl Complex will remain open tonight.
  • Lakeshore Drive lane reductions
    North Bay, ON – Sept. 16, 2021 – Please be advised that there will be lane reductions on Lakeshore Drive on Friday, Sept. 17, between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. to allow for the completion of line painting and intersection markings. 
  • King’s Landing reopen to vehicular traffic
    North Bay, ON – Sept. 15, 2021 – The King’s Landing wharf is reopen to vehicular traffic following the completion of repairs to damage caused by ice earlier this year. Previous weight restrictions are place as posted. Additional work will take place this fall to improve the ice protection around the wharf.
