  • Outdoor rinks closed for the season
    North Bay, ON – March 10, 2021 – Outdoor ice rinks operated by the City of North Bay are now closed for the season due to the mild weather. The rising temperatures, which are expected to continue, have resulted in poor ice conditions.

    North Bay, ON – March 10, 2021 – Preliminary and detailed design for the reconstruction of Main Street will soon get underway following North Bay City Council’s approval Tuesday of a contract award to R.V. Anderson Associates Limited.

    North Bay, ON – Feb. 24, 2021 – The City of North Bay has reopened all municipal outdoor rinks and tobogganing hills following the recent announcement by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit lifting the district-wide closures.

  • City removing ice at Memorial Gardens and Pete Palangio due to extended shutdown
    North Bay, ON – Feb.19, 2021 – The City of North Bay will immediately begin removing the ice at the Memorial Gardens and Pete Palangio arenas in light of today’s announcement that the Ontario Government will be maintaining the shutdown, the Stay-at-home order and all existing public health and workplace safety measures for the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit District. All ice user groups with current contracts will be contacted by City staff within the next several days.
