The Department of National Defence and the City of North Bay will co-host a public information session on November 19, 2025, to share latest project information and provide updates on our joint efforts to address polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) originating from the Jack Garland Airport and CFB North Bay.
During the session, subject matter experts will present updates on ongoing studies and remediation efforts and provide a forum for one-on-one interaction with project teams and experts to address community questions and concerns. This session will also provide a summary of information presented during the first public information session held on June 20, 2024.
Representatives from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit will also share information and be available to answer questions from the public.
The information session will run from 15:00 to 20:00 EST. A schedule of the session can be found below.
