North Bay Seeks Centennial Banner Designs

North Bay, ON – Sept. 10, 2024 – The City of North Bay’s Centennial Marketing & Promotions Sub-Committee invites local artists to submit designs for commemorative banners to celebrate our 100th anniversary.

Selected designs will be displayed along the Const. Fred Lefebvre Memorial Overpass leading into the West Ferris and downtown areas.

The artwork is intended to be up for the duration of 2025 (January 1st-December 31st, 2025). The current banners will be reinstalled in January 2026.

Requirements:

• Digital artwork or high-quality scans (34" x 90") vertical display
• Incorporate historical elements relevant to North Bay (e.g., aviation, rail, water, ringette, Gateway Arch)

Successful applicants will receive a $700 artist fee.
