Speaker Series - Mind/Body Fit for Life

The Mind/Body Fit for Life program offered by the City of North Bay includes a fitness component (registration required – all spots have been filled) and a drop-in speaker series with local presenters discussing a wide variety of topics.

The speaker series takes place on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room at WFCU Place. It is free to attend and all are welcome.

This Week's Speaker

 

What do the US Tariffs mean for Canada and its place in the world? This is the question Dr. David Tabachnick will address in his presentation on Thursday, Sept. 17. 

Dr. Tabachnick is a Professor of Political Science at Nipissing University. His research interests include History of Political Thought, Bioethics, Canadian Foreign Policy and Philosophy of Technology. He is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Political Philosophy and he has recently published the book The Leisure Ethic: The End of Work and a Return to Virtue.
