Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day will be held at Shabogesic Beach at the North Bay Waterfront on June 4, 2025, with exciting air demonstrations, static displays and more.

The event will run from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and all activities and entertainment are free to the public. Memorial Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. 

Armed Forces Day is held annually in North Bay to recognize members of the United States Air Force who, as part of NORAD and in support of the mission of the Canadian Air Defence Sector at 22Wing/Canadian Forces Base North Bay, contribute to the successful bi-national organization and have been part of the North Bay community for over 70 years.

Event Schedule

  • 10:00 a.m.: 22 Wing Band performance
  • 10:30 a.m.: Official Opening Ceremonies

Aerial Display Schedule (times approximate):

  • 11:40 a.m.: SkyHawks Parachute Demo
  • 12:05 p.m.: CC-130J Flypast
  • 12:15 p.m.: USAF F-16 Flypast
  • 12:25 p.m.: CF-18 Demo

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking will be available at the waterfront during the event.  You will be required to show your pass to the police officer for access to the accessible parking lot.
