Freedom of Information Requests

The City of North Bay is committed to being open, transparent, and accountable. Many City records are available without a formal request. If you are looking for information that is not routinely available, you can submit a Freedom of Information (FOI) request under Ontario's Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).

You may not need to submit a formal request. Contact the Freedom of Information Officer first to see if the information can be provided directly.

Provide details about the records you are requesting, including relevant dates, subject matter, or the City department that may have the records.

2. Complete the Request Form

Complete an Access or Correction Request Form and include the required $5 application fee. Additional fees may apply. See the Summary of Fees for details.
