Customer Service Clerk (Part-Time)

 Applications are invited for a Part-Time Customer Service Clerk (on call as required). Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible and accountable for providing excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner.  The position is also responsible for a variety of administrative duties associated with the service delivery of the Customer Service Centre.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent acceptable experience
• Two (2) years recent experience in a substantially similar work environment
• Two (2) years recent experience in cash handling
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated organizational and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of, and ability to interpret City by-laws
• Proficient in computer applications, i.e. Microsoft Office 365, CLASS, Sunguard
• Good working knowledge of office methods and procedures
