Road Closure Notice – Main Street West

North Bay, ON – Nov. 7, 2025 – Please be advised that a section of Main Street West will be closed on Monday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. to allow for the removal of the pedestrian traffic signal located between Timmins Street and Nipissing Street.
Once removed, pedestrians and cyclists accessing the multi-use path are asked to use the All-Way Stop at Nipissing Street to cross safely.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured as follows:

• Southbound traffic heading toward the downtown core will be detoured via Nipissing Street, Gorman Street, and Timmins Street back to Main Street West.
• Northbound traffic on Main Street West will be detoured east on Timmins Street, then north on Jane Street to Gormanville Road.
