North Bay, ON – June 20, 2025 –The City of North Bay is advising the public that temporary access to the Steve Omischl Sports Complex will be in place from June 23 to Nov. 30, 2025, to facilitate the ongoing construction of the new Recreation and Community Centre.
During this time, the main entrance to the complex at Booth Road will be closed to the public. A temporary access point has been established east of Booth Road. All visitors are asked to use this alternate route and follow posted signage to ensure safe and efficient access.
Although no traffic delays are anticipated, this remains an active construction area. For your safety and the safety of workers, please exercise extra caution and stay clear of designated work zones.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as we continue work on this important new facility for our community.
