Registration requests will be accepted online and by phone. Spaces in these programs are limited and will be assigned in the order of receipt of registration request.
Submitting a request will not guarantee registration. Staff will confirm your spot via email within two business days of your submission.
This fall, the City of North Bay is pleased to offer three free wellness programs for seniors:
Time: Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Dates: September 28 to December 14, 2026
Location: WFCU Place Community Room
Dance Fit 55+ is a fun, medium-impact fitness class that combines simple dance movements with music to help improve balance, coordination and overall fitness. Participants must be able to stand independently for the duration of the class.
Please note: there will be no class on October 12 or 26.

Time: Thursdays from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Dates: September 17 to December 3, 2026
Location: WFCU Place Community Room
Mind/Body Fit for Life combines physical activity with social connection and lifelong learning. The program begins with a Chair Aerobics class (registration required) from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., followed by coffee from 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. A drop-in guest speaker session runs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Registration is required for Chair Aerobics only.

Senior Fit 55+ is a low-impact fitness class designed to help improve strength, balance, flexibility and overall mobility. Exercises can be modified to suit a range of abilities and fitness levels, so participants can work at a pace that feels right for them.
Please note: there will be no class October 29.
