    North Bay, ON – June 21, 2022 – The City of North Bay is offering a free, single-day Swim to Survive program through the Canadian Lifesaving Society at Olmsted Beach on Sunday, July 24.

  • Lane Closures: Fisher Street and Fifth Avenue
    North Bay, ON – June 15, 2022 – Beginning today, a section of Fisher Street will be reduced to two lanes and section of Fifth Avenue will be reduced to a single lane between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. until end of day Friday while road and sidewalk improvements are underway.

    North Bay, ON – June 10, 2022 – Community open houses will be held in North Bay and East Ferris on June 22 regarding the Trout Lake Watershed Study and Management Plan.

    North Bay, ON – June 9, 2022 –Due to extremely wet conditions, most ball diamonds, soccer fields and football fields have been closed  today. 
  • Masking requirement ending for North Bay Transit
    North Bay, ON – June 9, 2022 – Face coverings will no longer be mandatory on City of North Bay buses as of June 11 as the provincial requirement for masking on public transit is lifted. North Bay Transit riders may continue to wear a mask as a matter of personal choice.
  • Notice of Construction: Highway 11/17closure and detour
    The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise that Highway 11/17 at the Ontario Northland Rail crossing, located approximately 350 metres northwest of Seymour Street will be closed from 7 p.m. on June 21, 2022 until 7 a.m. on June 22, 2022.
