Commuter Challenge is a week-long event during Canadian Environment Week that encourages some friendly competition between Canadian cities and workplaces to leave their cars at home. In North Bay, the event is coordinated by Next Economy: North Bay and is supported by the City of North Bay through its Active Transportation Advisory Committee. Whether you're walking, cycling, carpooling/ride-sharing, taking transit, or telecommuting, Commuter Challenge is all about celebrating active and sustainable transportation.
Be Less Driven
Join others across Canada during the week of June 5-11, by getting to your destination at least once -- by bike or scooter, using transit, car pooling, walking, or if you work from home, by logging the travel time you saved by telecommuting. It's free to participate.
Join the North Bay Challenge
