In The Matter Of A Proposed Amendment To
The City of North Bay’s Growth Community Improvement Plan
And In The Matter Of The Planning Act,
Section 17 (15), R.S.O., 1990, as amended
Take Notice That the Council of The Corporation of the City of North Bay will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, Council Chambers, 200 McIntyre Street East, North Bay, to consider a proposed amendment to the City of North Bay’s Growth CIP under Section 17 of The Planning Act, Chap. P.13, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.
Purpose and Effect to amend the current in-effect Growth CIP, the proposed changes include:
There is no key map attached to the notice given because the proposed amendments are not site-specific and apply to the entire City of North Bay.
Any Person may attend the Public Meeting and/or make written or oral representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed amendment.
And Take Notice That any written submissions and material in support of or in opposition to the proposed amendment will be received by the City Clerk on or before the meeting.
And Take Notice That if you wish to be notified of the decision of the City of North Bay on the proposed Community Improvement Plan Amendment, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the City of North Bay (200 McIntyre Street East, North Bay, ON P1B 8V6).
And Take Notice That if a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the City of North Bay to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of North Bay before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
And Take Notice That if a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of North Bay before the proposed amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
