  • Road closure: Wyld Street
    North Bay, ON – June 15, 2021 – A section of Wyld Street between McIntyre Street and First Avenue will be closed for approximately two days this week beginning Thursday morning for milling, adjusting of structure lids and repaving.
  • Road Closure: Lakeshore Drive
    North Bay, ON – June 11, 2021 – A section of Lakeshore Drive between Marshall Avenue and Mulligan Street will be closed for approximately 12 hours starting Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
  • CCTV sewer inspections
     North Bay, ON – June 11, 2021 – As part of the design work for the Main Street Reconstruction project, the City’s Public Works Sewer and Water Department will begin sewer investigation using CCTV cameras starting Monday, June 14 .
  • 2021 final property tax bills
    NORTH BAY, ON – June 11, 2021 –The City of North Bay began issuing 2021 final property tax bills this week. Property owners can expect to receive their bill in the mail within the next 5 to 10 business days.
  • Road Closure: Marshall Avenue East
    North Bay, ON – June 3, 2021 – Marshall Avenue East will be closed between Lakeshore Drive and Marshall Park Drive for up to eight days starting Monday, June 7, at 7:30 a.m. as part of ongoing waterworks upgrading in the area.
  • Wallace Road sewage pumping station upgrades
    North Bay, ON – May 14, 2021 – Installation of a new sewage pumping station and sanitary sewer on Wallace Road is expected to begin June 14.

    North Bay, ON – June 1, 2021 –The Family of Rotary’s Splash Pad will  be open for the season tomorrow morning.
  • Lane closure: Cassells Street
    North Bay, ON – May 28, 2021 – Please be advised that Cassells Street will be reduced to one lane today between Highway 11/17 and Olive Street from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. while paving takes place on Shaw Street and along the north side of Cassells Street.
  • City opening outdoor amenities
    North Bay, ON – May 21, 2021 – The City of North Bay is preparing to open sports fields and some other outdoor amenities following the provincial announcement Thursday that certain recreational activities will be permitted as of Saturday, May 22.

    North Bay, ON – May 14, 2021 – The City of North Bay will soon be installing its first bike box at the intersection of Main Street West, Memorial Drive and Murray Street 
  • Highway 11/17 and Seymour Street Intersection
    North Bay, ON – May 7, 2021 – Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited is set to begin the final phase of the reconstruction of the Highway 11/17 and Seymour Street Intersection, resulting in some traffic disruption over the next several weeks.
  • Traffic paint shortage
    North Bay, ON – May 6, 2021 – Due to severe weather in Texas last month, numerous chemical producing facilities that feed into the supply chain for traffic paint were damaged.  As a result, several key raw material suppliers have indicated they will not be able to fulfill orders on time. 
  • Survey launched for North Bay Community Safety and Well-Being Plan
    North Bay, ON – May 3, 2021 – The City of North Bay, in collaboration with community partners, is pleased to announce the launch of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWBP) survey. North Bay’s CSWBP is a coordinated effort to foster a safe, healthy and inclusive community by responding to identified priority risks.
  • Carriage Crescent Reconstruction
    North Bay, ON – April 30, 2021 – The reconstruction of Carriage Crescent is expected to resume starting May 3, with work scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2021.
  • Road Closure Update – Cassells Street
    North Bay, ON – April 29, 2021 – The temporary closure of Cassells Street, between Fourth and Fifth avenues, will be extended until end of day today to allow for the completion of works related to a nearby development. Additionally, Fifth Avenue, between Cassells and Fraser streets will be closed this afternoon until Friday at 5 p.m.
  • Road Closure – Cassells Street
    North Bay, ON – April 28, 2021 – Cassells Street, between Fourth and Fifth avenues, will remain closed today until 5 p.m. for works related to a nearby development. Additionally, Fifth Avenue, between Cassells and Fraser streets will be closed starting Thursday at 8 a.m. until Friday 5 p.m.
  • Road Closure - Memorial Drive at Main West and Murray
    North Bay, ON – April 27, 2021 – The City of North Bay would like to advise the public that the intersection at Main Street West, Memorial Drive and Murray Street has been temporarily closed as part of the West Link multi-use pathway project.
