  • City updates timing at signalized intersections
    North Bay, ON – Dec. 10, 2020 – The City of North Bay will be updating timing plans at a number of signalized intersections during the week of Dec. 14 to 18.  As a result, the changes to the signalized intersections will ultimately enhance traffic movement efficiency. 
  • Closure: Booth Road – Ferris to Lakeshore
    North Bay, ON – Dec.4, 2020 – The City of North Bay is advising residents that Booth Road between Ferris Drive and Lakeshore Drive is expected to be closed for approximately two weeks while infrastructure repairs are completed.
  • Holiday Events: Celebrating in North Bay
    North Bay, ON – Nov. 30, 2020 – The Santa Claus Parade Committee and the Families First Committee have teamed up to help celebrate the holidays in a safe virtual way this year. With the help of YourTV North Bay, committee members have been able to chat with Santa Claus and have planned some great activities for the children of North Bay during the month of December. 
  • City statement on encampment enforcement notice
    North Bay, ON – Nov. 26, 2020 – The City of North Bay provided notice this morning to those encamped outside City Hall that it will be enforcing its bylaw prohibiting camping on the property.
  • City and CUPE 122-1 ratify new collective agreement
    North Bay, ON – Nov. 25, 2020 – The City of North Bay has reached a new collective agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 122-1.

    North Bay, ON – Oct. 26, 2020 – The skatepark located at Thomson Park will be closed for the season as of Tuesday, Oct. 27. The skatepark will reopen in the spring of 2021.

    North Bay, ON – Oct. 23, 2020 – The City of North Bay is advising travellers to expect lengthy traffic delays next week at the Highway 11/17 and Seymour Street intersection.
  • Road Closure: Whippletree Drive at Carriage Cresent
    North Bay, ON – Oct. 23, 2020 – Please be advised that Whippletree Drive will be closed at Carriage Cresent for three days starting Monday, Oct. 26 while Bruman Construction completes storm sewer work as part of the Carriage Street Reconstruction project. A detour will be in place for the duration of the closure.

  • Interest-free grace period ending Oct. 31

  • North Bay Transit expanding hours of service
    North Bay, ON – Oct. 5, 2020 – North Bay Transit will begin operating on an enhanced schedule starting Tuesday, Oct. 13th to provide an increased level of service for all users.
  • Kate Pace Way Resurfacing
    North Bay, ON – Oct. 5, 2020 – Two sections of the Kate Pace Way will be closed for the next seven to 10 days while resurfacing is underway.
  • Condo Trail Closure Cancelled
    North Bay, ON – Sept. 30, 2020 – The planned closure of the Lake Nipissing Condo Trail west of Marathon Beach on Thursday, Oct. 1 for filming has been cancelled.
