  • West Link Pathway/Bike Lanes
    North Bay, ON – Aug. 28, 2020 – Construction of the West Link multi-use pathway, connecting the north and south ends of North Bay, will get underway during the first week of September.
  • Olive Street and Cassells Street Intersection
    North Bay, ON – Sept. 25, 2020 – As part of ongoing reconstruction, the detour at the intersection of Olive Street and Cassells Street will be reduced to one lane for installation of sewer and water infrastructure starting Monday, Sept. 28, 2020.
  • POA counter services resume at City Hall
    North Bay, ON – Sept. 18, 2020 – The City of North Bay will further expand access to in-person services at City Hall starting Sept. 21 with the resumption of counter services at the Provincial Offences Administration (POA) Office.

  • City Opens Rotary Splash Pad
    North Bay, ON – June 17, 2020 – The Family of Rotary’s Splash Pad will open for the season beginning today at noon.
  • City waives patio fees for local businesses
    North Bay, ON – June 10, 2020 – The City of North Bay is waiving all fees associated with the creation of new or expanded outdoor patio spaces to help support local businesses as they prepare to reopen amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Some monthly pre-authorized customers to recieve updated tax payment schedules
    Pre-Authorized Tax Payments on 15th of each month: To customers who have pre-authorized tax payments on the 15th of each month.  We would like to advise that your recently received 2020 Final Tax bill is accurate; however a payment application error has resulted in an overstatement of your July to December scheduled payments.
  • Transit Fares Resume June 15th
    On June 15, North Bay Transit will resume collecting fares on transit and para buses.
  • 2020 summer lifeguarding, swim lessons and youth centres cancelled
    Due to safety precautions being taken to limit the spread of the COVID -19 pandemic there will be no lifeguards on duty during the summer months of 2020 at Marathon, Olmsted and the Cove Beaches.
  • Pedestrian detour during Cassells Street bridge replacement
    North Bay, ON – June 4, 2020 – Work to replace the Chippewa Creek Bridge on Cassells Street (between Chippewa Street and Aubrey Street) is now underway. As a result, pedestrian traffic on Cassells Street will be detoured around the construction site onto Chippewa Street, High Street and Olive Street until approximately late September.
  • 2020 Property Tax Bills
    NORTH BAY, ON – June 3, 2020 –The City of North Bay is issuing its 2020 final property tax bills this week. Property owners can expect to receive their bill in the mail within the next 5 to 10 business days.
  • 2020 Road Resurfacing Program Begins
    North Bay, ON – June 2, 2020 – Asphalt resurfacing of various roads within the City of North Bay is expected to get underway next week.
