Remuneration & Expenses

In accordance with Section 284 of the Municipal Act, 2001, the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer is required to submit to Council on or before March 31 of the following year, an itemized statement of remuneration and expenses paid to Members of Council and appointees to committees and local boards.

To further support transparency and accountability, and in alignment with the City of North Bay’s Transparency and Accountability By-law 2007-243, as amended, the City will publish a cumulative itemized statement of Council expenses on a quarterly basis.

As outlined in By-Law 2025-068, the Quarterly Statement of Council Expenses will include:

  • Detailed transactions by the Mayor and Members of Council, including payee, date paid, amount, and a general description of the nature of the expense as it relates to City business.

The following table contains the Statements of Remuneration and Expenses for the Mayor and Members of Council commencing with the November 15, 2022 to November 14, 2026 term of Council:
